Terepockie UPDATE!!

this entry will be a bit point form because I want to go to bed.
-I went and cleared the wood from go left or die back in august, so it needs a new name.
-Upon our last visit all the wood has cleared out and new wood will not appear often on this run
-We finally got a group together to make a second attempt and OH WHAT A GLORIOUS DAY!!,
for reference levels the Chilliwack was at 1.5 from rain, snow just landed on the mountains, and Kanaka was at about 5cms (kanaka is a good one to reference as it has a similar reaction to rain), but In the future I will try and cross reference it with all the near by creeks to give a good idea, including cascade.

-7 paddlers and so much fun, all but one of the drops were run cleanly by everyone! Wall street seemed to risky at the level which we are saying is Medium-Low. I forgot about one rapid we had called Zig-Zag (a minor one anyhow) and gave a name to the hole below the waterfall (Marvin) so it shall ever be named Rooster Soup. I think Gilligan's Island will be the new name for go left or die (its the only island in the run and it has some beached logs on it and it made me think of the ship on Gilligan's island)

-We plan on going back and "modifying"  the cross ditch a bit to make it easier to pass, and at the same time I will be putting in a gauge, Green/Yellow/Red, it has inch markings on it and i will be lining up the bottom of the green with what we think is the lowest reasonable level to run this creek at, the bottom of the green will coincide with the 12" mark, yellow at 24-36" and red at 36-48". you would have to be pretty brave to run this at 48"
